I am more practical and patriotic as well. Raise voice whenever something unfair happens to the poor and the needy .

When did you join Aashayein Foundation and why did you join it?

I have joined Aashayein  in October 2008, came to know through my friend kalyani. My father always says "Education is the only property (asset) I earned for you nothing else ,I believed in my studies so I'm here like this so you study well and have a bright future for you ” that is the importance he gives to education ,even me too. As Aashayein is also doing everything for education so I felt like becoming a drop in this ocean.

Which has been the most memorable day in Aashayein for you?
Almost every Sunday I attend  SBA activity irrespective of the distance . I learned many new ,strange and  heart touching  facts from the little hearts there, so every SBA I participate is memorable .

One such fact:
On 15thNov09  at  Desire Society, Center for HIV – AIDS Children, near Bolaram Village, Medak ... While playing with kids - one beautiful girl asked me to carry her on my shoulder, I did it & after seconds gap a little boy came and asked  to carry him also, as they are not much heavy I carried him on the other hand, next followed two more kids asking me to carry them. That moment I felt  pity about the sad situation of these little kids who are craving for kind and loving person to just simply carry them on their shoulders. (The photo was clicked then..)

What are your expectations from Aashayein?
Aashayein  is doing  excellent job  on its own terms. So no expectations.

Tell us 2 things that you like in Aashayein and 2 areas that need more attention and how can we work on them?

a)Too many things are there that I liked, if I have to say. But as for the question my answer is Commitment and involvement  of each volunteer in  Aashayein.

        b) As Aashayein  is having  regular weekend activities, it  needs  more  number of volunteers and this  number might increase by reaching college students  through giving presentations in all the colleges in and around Hyderabad.

What are the different responsibilities that you would like to handle in Aashayein?

Nothing, as of  now  I am ok with my regular participation to SBA. Trying my best to get more volunteers (regular and dedicated  volunteers) from my friends circle.

Where would you like to see Aashayein in 5 years from now?
Aashayein branches in all major cities with all these activities running smoothly with more integrity and people from all walks of life as volunteers. So that we can see a developed country through education in few years from now.

Any message for Aashayein and its members.
Your commitment  to child-education is what I admire so keep doing …spread smiles.
